The all-new line-up of the Pussycat Dolls made their debut last night (May 21st) at a private function in Los Angeles. Joining original member and replacing members Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts, are Kherrington Payne, Vanessa Curry, James Lee Ruiz, and Rino Nakasone-Razalan.

I just don’t understand why the record label won’t let NIcole just go out and do her own thing. In the past they have used practically only her voice and its stated that they only use her voice on the album and the others are just back up dancers practically….I just don’t understand what the PCD name or the new back ups really do for Nicole herself as a performer….or for even the so called PCD group…If they don’t purchase some good material this time, I think Nicole should start another solo career because I personally like her alone.

BTW, Jamie Ruiz is from the Pussycat Dolls Presents: Girlicious, she was ousted in Ep 5. She has worked in the Las Vegas PCD show since the show ended so she has potential in this new lineup. I believe she was a Miami heat cheerleader before the Girlicious show.
Rino is one of Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Girls so she’s got the dancing bit down nicely.
Kherrington is from S4 of SYTYCD, with work in Glee as well just recently.
Vanessa is a former Lakers girl, most recently accused of being Kobe’s mistress.

That Kherrington chick was on So You Think You Can Dance in the states. So I definitely believe that they are just glorified back up dancers.
First off…im not gonna make judgements until i hear some music from them…secondly, nicole sang most the songs so i dont think it will make a big difference. Only time will tell…..

Alright. The pussycat dolls had some hot burlesque-ish videos and some fun club hits but they will never be able to make it through such a large change. They are pretty outdated as it is and their albums have had nothing but filler tracks. Plus no one even knew the original members’ names and people barely know Nicole Sherzinger.
